At ZoujApps, we are committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. This document explains how Smart School handles data.

1. Data We Collect

Smart School does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive data to external servers. All data entered by the user — including:

• Child's name and age
• Learning progress (points, levels, badges, streaks)
• Activity history (completed tasks, quiz results, coloring progress)
• App preferences (language, dark mode, sound settings)

is stored exclusively locally on your device using SharedPreferences. You remain the sole owner and controller of this data.

2. How We Use Data

Your locally stored data is used only to:

• Personalize the learning experience for your child.
• Track progress across educational activities (math, vocabulary, writing, games, coloring, stories, puzzles, quizzes).
• Award badges and trophies based on achievements.
• Maintain learning streaks and session history.
• Remember your preferred language, theme, and sound settings.

We do not analyze, share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party.

3. Internet Connection & Advertisements

The app may use an internet connection for:

• Google AdMob: To display non-personalized banner ads. No personal data is shared with AdMob. Advertisements are served in compliance with Google's policies.
• License verification: To ensure the app is properly licensed.

No learning data, child information, or personal data is ever transmitted over the internet.

4. Third-Party Services

Smart School uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob – for displaying banner advertisements. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Mobile Ads SDK – for ad serving. No personal data is collected.

5. App Permissions

The app requests only minimal permissions:

• INTERNET: To load advertisements and verify the license.
• VIBRATE: For haptic feedback during interactions.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send optional learning reminders (if enabled).
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To reschedule notifications after device restart.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: To schedule reminder notifications at precise times.

The app does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or storage (except as required for notification scheduling).

6. Children’s Privacy

Smart School is designed specifically for children aged 13–20 years. We take children's privacy very seriously.

• We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
• All data entered by the parent or child remains exclusively on the device.
• No data is sent to our servers, and we have no access to any information stored in the app.
• Parents have full control over the data: they can add, switch, or delete child profiles at any time from the Settings screen.
• If you are a parent and have any concerns, please contact us (see section 9 below).

7. Data Retention & Deletion

• All data is stored on the device and remains until the app is uninstalled or the user manually deletes a profile.
• Deleting a child's profile from the Settings screen permanently removes all associated data (progress, points, badges, streak).
• Uninstalling the app removes all stored data from the device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
